And those who no longer expect menstruation among your women - if you doubt, then their period is three months, and [also for] those who have not menstruated. And for those who are pregnant, their term is until they give birth. And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of his matter ease.
The subject of 65:4 is quite clearly the interim period after a divorce during which a divorced woman cannot remarry.
Here, the meaning of the word yehidn(e) (you can examine link) is those who have not menstruated. However, some circles, in order to use it as evidence for their perversions, add the word "yet", which is neither present in the verse nor in its meaning. Thus, the verse is distorted by devilish people, its general meaning is suddenly reduced to a specific one, and it is used as evidence for child marriage.
After removing the added word "yet," all you need to do to understand the topic is ask yourself and answer a very simple question:
Why should a girl who hasn't reached puberty, and is physically incapable of getting pregnant at that age, have to wait three months before conception?
Girls under the age of puberty cannot become pregnant at this age and therefore, since they do not need to complete the interim period, they are not the subject of this verse.
When the focus is on the message the verse intends to convey, the distortions that have been made become easily apparent.
