Al-Awwal
It means the infinite and pre-eternal first, the one who is first in terms of existence, the one whose existence has no beginning.
He is the First and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent: and He has full knowledge of all things.
Al-Akhir
It means the infinite and post-eternal last, the one whose essence remains last after everything has perished, the one whose existence has no end.
He is the First and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent: and He has full knowledge of all things.
Az-Zahir
It means the one who is evident, whose existence is crystal clear through His creations, the one who reveals Himself through existence.
He is the First and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent: and He has full knowledge of all things.
Al-Batin
It means the one whose essence is not seen by any eye, who reaches every secret but whose own secret is never reached, the one whose essence is the absolute Unseen.

Al-Mubin
It means the one who is certain, clear, and understandable in His essence; the one who makes the beings He created certain, clear, and understandable; the one who reveals the truth clearly through the signs of the universe, events, the Book, and humanity.
On that Day Allah will pay them the recompense of their deeds in full, and they will know that Allah, He is the Manifest Truth.
An-Nur
It means the infinite light, the unique and peerless illuminator, the source of light and energy for all existence.
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. His light is like a niche in which there is a lamp, the lamp is in a crystal, the crystal is like a shining star, lit from ˹the oil of˺ a blessed olive tree, ˹located˺ neither to the east nor the west, whose oil would almost glow, even without being touched by fire. Light upon light! Allah guides whoever He wills to His light. And Allah sets forth parables for humanity. For Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of all things.
Ash-Shakir
It means the one who responds to gratitude, the one who gives a functional response to functional gratitude.
Why should Allah punish you if you have thanked (Him) and have believed in Him. And Allah is Ever All-Appreciative (of good)(always responsive to gratitude), All-Knowing.
